Was there something that happened in your life that impacted you to start helping out others and want to be such an inspiration, or have you always wanted to?

This is such a loaded question for me. I think a lot of different things have happened in my life that has impacted who I am today. Dealing with depression/anxiety, being severely bullied, overcoming an eating disorder, and on a more positive note - donating my bone marrow, and volunteering at Camp Sunshine.

The negative things I've fought my way through in the past have only made me into a stronger and braver person today, inside and out. Because of going through those tough times I am able to see both sides of the story. I can see just how hard it can seem to deal with the rough patches, and feel as though you want to give up, but I can also see that there is SO much more to life, and I truly believe that everybody has a purpose for being here. The future has endless opportunities as long as you face each day with a positive outlook. Are bad things still going to happen? Yes of course. But as long as you focus on the good, and continue fighting and pushing your way through, nobody can stand in your way.

So, back to the question, have I always wanted to help others? No not necessarily. I think it took a lot of growing, and finding myself to understand just how badly I want to make an impact on the lives of people around me. After I graduated high school, things finally started to click for me. As cliche as this sounds, one of my life goals is to have somebody come up to me one day and say, "Because of you I didn't give up."

I hope you all had an amazing day!

Lets get to the real purpose of this post…

I want all of my readers to get to know me better, so ask me questions! Anything you want to know. Ask away! My next blog post will be a question and answer type of post, and I cannot wait to see what you all come up with.

I hope you have a fabulous Wednesday night! Get a goodnights sleep, and I will talk to you all soon.

I need your feedback!

Happy Tuesday everybody!

First thing on todays agenda is asking you all a pretty important question…

What would you think of me creating a YouTube/vlog channel? It has always been something I've wanted to do, but have never committed/had the courage to follow through with the idea.

I've got lots of super exciting things coming up… moving into a new place, traveling out of the country for the very first time, you get the picture! Personally I think it would be amazing to have all of the memories to look back on later on in life, but I also think that starting my own channel would be really fun!

Let me know what you think!!

Thanks for reading,
Love always,
Michaela

Truth

Okay so here I am, 7:10 pm on a Monday night. Why am I writing this blogpost? I've got a lot that I need to get off of my chest. What better way to express myself then posting my feelings for the world to see.

School has always been extremely hard for me. I have never been a strong student, and quite frankly I am not super interested in spending hours on end trying to BS my way through writing a paper, or pulling my hair out because of how hard a math problem is. I do not enjoy astronomy, history, sitting through two and a half hour classes, or replying back to online forums to people I have never met.

If school is for you, I applaud you. But if it isn't, just know you are not alone. What I don't understand is why we are being judged, rated, and categorized all because of a grade point average. All we are is just another number.

Am I in school? Yes. Am I happy? Not in the slightest bit. So why am I settling? Why am I allowing myself to be miserable? I think we are all just stuck in the never ending cycle of trying to make everyone happy. Which is another thing I've never been able to fully grasp. Why is everyone so hung up on everybody else's opinions on who we should be. It is our life, lets start living it the way we want to!

There are a ton of positive things going on in my life right now, I don't want it to seem as though all I'm doing is complaining. But sometimes you've just got to rant.

Thanks for reading!
Love always,
Michaela
